Accra, April 11, GNA – Mr Tamás Endre Fehér, the Ambassador of Hungary to Ghana, has paid a courtesy call on Mr Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, the Minister of Foreign Affairs at the Ministry’s premises in Accra.
During the meeting, Mr Fehér disclosed his country’s intentions to improve bilateral ties with Ghana in key areas such as security, education, and other sectors that aligns with the interest of the two countries.
Reflecting on Ghana and Hungary’s deep historical ties, Mr Ablakwa commended Hungary for its ongoing assistance to Ghana, especially in the fields of infrastructure development, education, and sanitation.
He applauded the consistency of scholarship programmes offered by the Government of Hungary to Ghanaian students and noted the positive impact they have made in the country’s manpower development.
Other topics that were discussed included educational exchange programmes, and other initiatives that would help to further develop the diplomatic ties between the two countries.
The Ambassador was accompanied by Dr Lawrence Tetteh, Founder/President of Worldwide Miracle Outreach and International Evangelist, who is also a Hungarian trained Economist.
