Anfoega (V/R), April. 4, GNA – The Assembly Members in North Dayi District have confirmed Mr. Ernest Adevor as the new District Chief Executive (DCE) with an overwhelming 94 percent endorsement.
Out of 32 assembly members, 30 participated in the vote, with 29 voting in favour of Adevor’s confirmation.
The decisive victory marks a significant milestone in the district’s governance as Mr Adevor prepares to take office and lead development efforts.
Mr Adevor’s confirmation was greeted with excitement and optimism by many in the district, who are looking forward to his leadership and vision for development.
As the newly confirmed DCE, Mr Adevor has pledged to work tirelessly to promote the development of the district.
He outlined key areas of focus, including improving infrastructure, enhancing education and healthcare services, and promoting economic development.
Mr James Gunu, Volta Regional Minister, congratulated Adevor on his confirmation, urging him to work diligently for the district’s progress.
The Minister also called on all stakeholders to support Adevor’s leadership, ensuring a united front for development.
Mr Adevor thanked the assembly members for their endorsement and promised to work closely with them to achieve the district’s development goals.
He also assured the people of North Dayi that he would be a listening leader, always ready to hear their concerns and ideas.
Mr Adevor’s confirmation has been welcomed by various stakeholders in the district, including traditional leaders, opinion leaders, and residents.
Many have also expressed confidence in his ability to lead the district to prosperity and development as he is expected to work closely with stakeholders to drive development and improve the lives of the people of North Dayi.
