Dormaa-Ahenkro (Bono), April 25, GNA – Mr King Osei Owusu, Dormaa East District Chief Executive, has urged the people to be law abiding and help preserve the prevailing peace for the purpose of development.
He also urged stakeholders to support the Assembly towards the development of the district, cooperating and attending meetings and thereby contributing to the decision-making process of the assembly.
Interacting with the media at Dormaa-Ahenkro, Mr Owusu also called on the people to help preserve the prevailing peace of the district, saying a more peaceful environment was required to accelerate the development of the area.
He cautioned them against mischievous behaviours and lawlessness that could draw back development and entreated the people to always use laid down procedures to seek redress for their grievances.
“We must all try and support in the implementation of government policies and programmes to enhance our socio-economic livelihoods and not political saboteurs”, Mr Owusu advised, and promise to lead the assembly to enact bye-laws that would promote environmental sanitation.
He pledged his readiness and unwavering commitment to improve sanitation in the area, assuring to collaborate and work in unity with all the Assembly Members and stakeholders.
