Church of Pentecost, Akatsi Zone climaxes Easter Convention with a call to forgive

By Agbaxode Emmanuel

Akatsi (VR), April 20, GNA- Reverend Alexander Kwadzo Agbozo, the Akatsi Zonal Chairman of the Church of Pentecost, has admonished Christians to stand firm in the Lord with a forgiving heart.

He said Jesus Christ’s death and resurrection were indications of repentance, forgiveness, and reconciliation among all believers and members of society.

Pastor Agbozo made the call on Sunday, April 20, at the climax of the church’s five-day Easter Convention, held at Akatsi Agbagblakope School Park.

Speaking on the theme “Do not be afraid, I am not a ghost, I am Jesus,” the man of God who doubles as the District Pastor for Akatsi District of the Church said believers must present themselves as God-loving people.

“People must not be afraid of you. Do not present yourself as a ghost to others to be afraid of. Live with good conscience,” he said.

Pastor Agbozo further disclosed that the sacrifice of Jesus Christ was enough for all believers to live a Christ-like life.

The celebration brought together four Districts namely, Agorve, Agbalixorme, Lawui, and Akatsi, all under the Akatsi Zone.

It was under the theme “Fear Not, He is Risen,” from the book of Matthew 28:5-6.

There was a display of local music amidst dancing and giving praises to God.

Prayers, healing, prophecy, testimonies, and deliverance were experienced under the control of the Holy Spirit.
