Alhaji Kwarteng advises prison inmates to make positive life choices

Accra, March 31, GNA- Alhaji Ibrahim Oppong Kwarteng, the Executive Director of Crime Check Foundation (CCF) has advised muslim inmates of the Awutu Camp Prison in the Central Region to be bold in making positive life choices.  

He urged them to avoid crime and any unlawful acts that could lead them back to prison after their release.  

Alhaji Kwarteng was speaking to the inmates, as part of the delegation from the Krispol City Jama’at of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission in the Kasoa North Circuit.   
The Jama’at donated assorted items to the inmates to support the celebration of the Eid ul -Fitr.  

The items are bags of rice and beans, cooking oil and other assorted drinks   
Eid-ul -Fitr is celebration by Muslims worldwide because it marks the end of the month-long dawn to dusk fasting of Ramadan.

He emphasised the importance of self-discipline, resilience, and a commitment to lawful living.   

The Executive Director encouraged them to learn from their past mistakes, seek personal development, and embrace a mindset of transformation.   

Alhaji Kwarteng reminded them that their time in prison should serve as a lesson and a turning point, urging them to make conscious efforts to reintegrate into society as responsible and law-abiding individuals.  

He assured them that support systems exist to help former inmates rebuild their lives and that staying on the right path would lead to a brighter and more dignified future.  

As part of the Eid celebration, Alhaji Kwarteng encouraged the inmates to remained hopeful and use the lessons of Ramadan to transform their lives.   

The Foundation under the leadership of Alhaji Kwarteng has extended support to prison inmates in celebration of Eid over the years.  

It had provided essential items, including food, clothing, and toiletries, to help the inmates mark the festive occasion despite being incarcerated.  

He reiterated CCF’s commitment to advocating for the welfare of prisoners and assisting in their reintegration into society after their release.
