Accra, March 12, GNA – The Vision Unlimited Foundation, a religious organisation has distributed free bibles and other gospel books to members of the Glory House Chapel at Santamaria, a suburb of Accra.
The items were donated by Rev Jason and Mrs Maria Woolford of the Mission Cry, an international religious organisation based in the USA.
The two organisations are into a project to promote the spread of the gospel of Christ through the initiative of every household owns a bible hence the free distribution.
Rev Prof Clement Owusu Sarpong, the founder of the Vision Unlimited Foundation in an interview with the Ghana News Agency said it was heart-warming as the congregation received the bibles with happiness.
He expressed the hope that the recipients would make good use of the items by reading them to uplift their spiritual being and to transform their lives.
Apostle Dr Atta Frimpong Blessing, the founder of the Glory House Chapel urged the members to always read the bible to gain wisdom and knowledge so as not to perish, saying according to the scriptures “The lack of knowledge my people perish,”
“Avoid giving credence to the saying that if you want to hide something from the black man put it in a book,” he admonished.
