He said fighting galamsey was not just lip-service, but required a strong political will, and called on President Mahama to be proactive in curbing the menace.
That notwithstanding, Prophet Kyeremeh said he appreciated efforts being put in place by the government towards building a better country for all so far, and lauded the “Operation Recover All Loots” (ORAL) initiative of the government.
In his efforts to fight corruption in the public space, President Mahama sets up the ORAL to gather information about corruption and to be passed on to the appropriate government institution for further investigations.
Prophet Kyeremeh lauded the objectives of setting up the ORAL and urged the ORAL to work hard to achieve its objectives.
The Reverend Minister also indicated that without peace and unity, it would be difficult for the government to lead the national reconstruction processes and called on Ghanaians to bury their political differences and orientations and contribute to holistic development of the nation.
