Accra, March 09, GNA-The pairings for the quarterfinal of the 2024/25 MTN FA Cup have been drawn as 2016 Champions Bechem United will host another premier league giant Berekum Chelsea in their search for a second title.
The two sides, who have enjoyed quite some impressive run since the birth of the competition, would once again battle for a slot into the last four with eyes on the ultimate.
Berekum Chelsea comes as wounded lions hoping to make history this time round after being eliminated by Champions Nsoatreman in the 2023/24 season.
Elsewhere, Attram De Visser Academy will lock horns with PAC Academy in another thrilling clash, while Karela United takes on Golden Kick in another disguised tough game.
Following their dominance against Dreams FC and Nania FC, division one league side True Democracy will face the winner of the Kotoko, Sekondi Eleven Wise clash scheduled for Wednesday, March 12,2025.
Mr. George Naatey, Senior Manager, Brands and Communication Marketing Services at MTN speaking at the event said the tournament, sponsored by MTN since 2010 had contributed immensely to strengthening local football clubs while unearthing talents.

He called on fans to troop to the various stadia during the quarter finals, Semis and the final match to support their favourite teams as they battle for glory.
Mr. Naatey congratulated Nsoatreman FC for winning the 2023/24 FA Cup after beating Bofoakwa Tano on penalties.
“We also congratulate Ghana Football Association and the FA Cup committee for effectively managing the tournament and making it one of the most competitive football tournaments in the country”, he said
The quarterfinal matches will take place on the weekend of March 28-31, 2025.
