MCE nominee grateful to President Mahama

Bibiani (WN/R), March 27, GNA – Mr Sebastian Obeng, Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), nominee has expressed his profound gratitude to President Dramani Mahama for nominating him to lead local government structure in the Municipality. 

He expressed the appreciation in a statement copied to the Ghana News Agency after the President released the first batch of the Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives. 

He was optimistic that he would be approved to bring the desired development to the area. 

“To my fellow party members, your encouragement and commitment have been invaluable during this journey. 

“Together, we have built a strong foundation based on our core values of integrity, service, and accountability,” he said. 

Mr Obeng assured the people of his unwavering commitment to good and effective leadership. 

He said: “Together, we will work tirelessly to address the challenges facing our community, enhance local governance, and foster sustainable development.” 

Mr Obeng pledged to operate an open-door policy, saying “I will always be open to your ideas and concerns, for it is through collaboration and unity that we will achieve our goals.” 

He also called for peace and unity and a shared vision among the people for a prosperous future for Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai.
