Journalist receive sponsorship to attend tourism exhibition in China

Takoradi, March 14, GNA – Mr Seth Ameyaw Danquah, a stringer of the Ghana News Agency and the Tour Manager of Justmax Travels, has received sponsorship to attend this year’s Universal Tourism Exhibition (UTE) on March 20, 2025, at Guangzhou, China.

The joint sponsorship came from the Takoradi-Keda Ceramics Ghana Limited, manufacturers of Twyford ceramic tiles and Micassa sanitary wares, and Justmax Travels, a Takoradi-based local travel and tour company.

The UTE is an annual event that promotes international tourism cooperation, programme exchanges and development and as a premier international event it brings together tourism professionals, travel agencies, tour operators, and hospitality providers to showcase their products and services.

This year’s event is expected to attract over 1,000 exhibitors from more than 50 countries around the world.

Mr Danquah who is also the Acting Secretary of a team working on the formation of Guangdong Province- Ghana Chamber of Commerce (GPGCC), is expected to visit the headquarters of Keda Ceramics in Guangzhou and meet with industry players as well as members of the academia, to deliberate on the registration process of the Chamber.

He said attending the UTE-2025 would provide him with a unique opportunity to network with global tourism stakeholders, gain insights into the latest tourism trends, and promote Ghana’s tourism attractions to a global audience.

He said attending the event would not only enhance his knowledge and skills as a tourism advocate but also enable him to make valuable connections that would benefit Ghana’s industry.

Mr Danquah stated that the event would provide him with a platform to showcase Ghana’s tourism potential, promote the country’s cultural heritage, and attract international tourists to Ghana.

He promised to share his experiences and insights gained from the event with the public through various media channels during and after the visit.

Keda Ceramics Ghana Limited and Justmax Travels have demonstrated their commitment to supporting the development of tourism in Ghana through their sponsorship of Seth Danquah’s attendance of the UTE 2025.
