GNAFF undergoes transformation to boost Ghana’s agricultural sector

Dambai (O/R), Marchh 24, GNA – The Ghana National Association of Farmers and Fishermen (GNAFF) is embarking on an ambitious reorganization process aimed at revitalizing the country’s agricultural sector.

As the largest trade union for farmers and fishermen, GNAFF’s primary objective is to advocate the welfare of its members, recognizing the intricate link between their well-being and Ghana’s agricultural development.

The Ghana News Agency (GNA) in an engagement with Mr. Francis Opai Tetteh, the Country Director for the World Conference of Mayor, Ghana revealed that the organization has embarked on a comprehensive re-organisation, rebranding, and repositioning effort.

He said a consultant has been appointed to spearhead the initiative, which includes mobilising farmers and fishermen at the grassroots level.

He told GNA that the move was expected to strengthen GNAFF’s presence and influence across the country.

GNAFF’s efforts are focused on becoming a more effective advocate farmers and fishermen, ultimately contributing to the growth and development of Ghana’s agricultural sector.

By revitalizing its structures and processes, GNAFF aims to improve the livelihoods of its members and drive agricultural development nationwide.

With its reorganization efforts underway, GNAFF is poised to play a more significant role in promoting the welfare of farmers and fishermen in Ghana, ultimately contributing to the country’s agricultural development.
