Dalun is an important farming area in the Kumbungu District of the Northern Region.

Alhaji Osman Abdel-Rahman, Executive Director, GDCA explained that the organisation worked with communities, and traditional authorities were key in the communities, hence the gesture.

He added that “Of course, Dalun is our home, and we must be part of its development, hence our support towards the reconstruction of the palace.”

GDCA’s subsidiary organisation; Dalun Simli Centre, is located at Dalun where the organisation regularly hosts various events.
