Kansaworodo(WR), March 19, GNA – Dr. Grace Ayensu-Danquah, the Member of Parliament for Essikado -Ketan Constituency, has donated twenty-seven bags of sugar to the Muslim community in the constituency in the spirit of Ramadan.
The gesture was to help them enjoy their cereals and beverages before and after the fasting.
The gesture was supervised by Mr. Ahmed Shungari, the Zongo Caucus chairman of the constituency to ensure that all mosques received a fair share of the donation.
Dr. Ayensu-Danquah, who is the first NDC to take the seat from the NPP after 20 years of uninterrupted rule in the constituency reaffirmed her commitment to serving her constituents and promoting unity within the community.
