Dambai (O/R) March 30, GNA- In a heartwarming display of faith and community, Muslim faithful gathered in Dambai for Eid-al-Fitr prayers, marking the end of Ramadan.

The congregational prayer, Salat al-Eid, was performed in the morning, shortly after sunrise.

The prayer was a special occasion for the Muslim community in Dambai, as they came together to express gratitude to Allah for the strength granted during Ramadan.

Mallam Baba Al-hassan, Deputy Chief Imam of the Ahlussuna Wal-Jama’Ah, delivered a sermon, Khutbah, after the prayer, emphasising the significance of Eid-al-Fitr and the importance of gratitude, good deeds, and communal harmony.

The Eid-al-Fitr celebrations in Dambai were filled with traditional dishes, gift-giving, and family gatherings.

The occasion was a time for the Muslim community to come together, strengthen bonds, and renew their commitment to their faith.

As the Muslim faithful celebrate Eid-al-Fitr in Dambai, they were joined by others around the world, including in the UAE, where Eid prayers were performed at various mosques and musallahs.

The occasion was a testament to the unity and solidarity of the global Muslim community.
