Youth Parliament commends Tanko’s election as Volta Regional rep for Council of State

Anloga, (V/R), Feb 21, GNA – The Keta/Anloga Youth Parliament has extended their heartfelt congratulations to Mr Gabriel Kwamigah-Atokple, also known as Tanko, on his election as the Volta Regional representative in Ghana’s Ninth Council of State.

In an official statement signed by Dan Sosoo, Majority Leader of the Youth Parliament, the group praised Mr Tanko for his unwavering dedication, hard work, and commitment to national service.

His election, the statement noted, was a reflection of his exemplary leadership and deep devotion to the welfare of the Volta Region.

Recognising his vast experience and contributions to community development, the Youth Parliament expressed confidence that Mr Tanko’s role on the Council would be instrumental in shaping policies that benefit the region.

“Your leadership and expertise will undoubtedly be valuable assets to the Council, and we have no doubt that you will make a lasting impact,” the statement read.

Mr Dan Sosoo, told GNA how they are happy with Tanko’s elevation citing his election as a hope for young men.

“Tanko’s election is a motivation to all young people in the Region to chase excellence, it has aways been the era of aged serving on Council of State, but this is a new dawn for youth and politics in Anloland and Volta at large,”

The Parliament extended its best wishes to Mr. Tanko as he embarks on this important advisory role, urging him to continue advocating for the development and prosperity of the Volta Region, particularly the youth.

A young and well-respected figure in the region, Mr. Gabriel Tanko Kwamigah-Atokple has distinguished himself as a champion of social welfare, with a strong track record of supporting the underprivileged. His numerous charitable initiatives, including donations to hospitals and orphanages, have positively impacted many lives.
