Ho, Feb. 16, GNA – The Socialist Movement of Ghana has urged Ho Central Member of Parliament, Mr Edem Kpotosu, to be relentless in pursuing the development of the constituency.

The Movement asked the MP to fight for projects that would bring positive transformation into the constituency and should advocate for the people who placed their faith in him and voted for him.

Ambruce Senahia, Convener of Ho Collective of the Movement, speaking at the inauguration of the MP’s Office in Ho, said a true measure of the success of the MP would be seen in the lives that got improved and the communities in the constituency that were strengthened.

He asked the MP, who is also a socialist to remain steadfast in his commitment to their shared ideals as socialism was about more than just policies; “it is about ensuring that every member of our society has the opportunity to live with dignity and purpose.”

Mr Senahia asked the MP to prioritise the need of the majority over the interest of the few and should fight for the marginalised and must always put the people first.

He said as socialists they were guided by the belief that the true wealth of a society is in its people.

“We strive for a society where every individual, regardless of their status in life, has the opportunity to contribute to and benefit from the fruits of our collective labour.”

The Convener asked the people of Ho Central to embrace the spirit of patriotism and loyalty to the constituency and be united to enhance the development of the constituency.

“Together, we can overcome any challenge and achieve the progress we so deeply desire. Let us rally behind our Member of Parliament, support his efforts, and work together to build a future that we can all be proud of,” he said.

“Let us move forward with determination, unity, and an unyielding commitment to the values of equality, justice, and solidarity,” he added.
