Accra, Feb. 24, GNA – Alhaji Ibrahim Oppong Kwarteng, Executive Director of Crime Check Foundation (CCF), has inaugurated and dedicated a Mosque and a two bed-room mission house in memory of his late wife, Amina Oppong Kwarteng.
The one-story magnificent 400 capacity Mosque named “MASJID AMINA” located at Krispol City Jamaat in Kasoa North Circuit in the Kasoa Zone of the Greater Accra Region had a ground floor prayer area for men and upper floor for women, an MTA Facility, an Office and storeroom and separate male and female ablution areas and a mechanized borehole for water supply.

Alhaji Maulvi Noor Mohammed Bin Salih, the Ameer and Missionary in Charge of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat Ghana speaking at the inauguration commended Alhaji Kwarteng and his household for the gesture and prayed for Allah’s continuous guidance and protection.
He assured Alhaji Kwarteng that Allah would continue to bless him as he endeavours to support the Mission.
He urged other Ahmadis, who are well-endowed to emulate the good example of Alhaji Kwarteng and support their various communities in need.
The Ameer called on them to show love, kindness and compassion to one another in the communities, saying they could only do this when they pray to Allah to touch their hearts.
He said more was expected from Members in supporting each other in their various Jamaats and they have no excuse to give.

Alhaji Kwarteng told the Ghana News Agency that his gesture said the Mosque was also an element for lessening the burden of the poor because people come in for moral and spiritual resuscitation.
He said he decided to build the facility within this locality because there was a need for the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community to have a Mosque, because they had been struggling over the years, where they pray openly.
“Anytime the rains came in, it was hell for them. So, I thought it wise to put up these 400 capacities for them so that it will solve their pressing needs, a place of worship,” he added.

He said he was also inspired and motivated by his late wife, when one person from Jamaat contacted him for support.
“After the one person contacted me from her Jamaat to put up a mosque and after telling my wife, she quickly asked me to do it, so that is why we have MASJID AMINA named after her,” he said.
Alhaji Kwarteng said according to the Quran, Allah would build a place for whoever builds a Mosque for him in paradise.

Alhaji Adam Kofi Yamoah, the Greater Accra Regional President of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission said it was the Executive Council of the Greater Accra Region Jamaat that putting up a mission house in addition to a Mosque built on the same premises should be the order of the day.
He said it was to ensure that lmams were comfortably accommodated close to the Mosque to take charge of the facility and to ensure that the least five daily prayers were said congregationally by their efforts.
