Wenchi Traditional Area Paramount Chief urges Ghanaians to forgive each other

Wenchi, (Bono), Jan. 2, GNA – Osagyefo Ampem Anye Amoampong Tabrako III, the Paramount Chief of the Wenchi Traditional Area in the Bono Region, has urged Ghanaians to forget past misdeeds and forgive one another in the New Year.

He highlighted the essence of national unity and social cohesion in facilitating progressive and prosperous nation in 2025, calling for togetherness and upholding of traditional values in building a better society for all.

Osagyefo Tabrako III gave the advice in his New Year Message copied to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) in Sunyani, saying “together we will achieve greatness in 2025”, and congratulated the President-elect John Dramani Mahama and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) on the election victory.

The Paramount Chief urged the in-coming government to remain humble and eschew arrogance in serving the nation and called on President-elect Mahama to also ensure that his administration served all Ghanaians in diligence, irrespective of one’s political affiliation and orientation.

Osagyefo Tabrako III expressed appreciation to the Wenchi Traditional Council, local council of churches, the Muslim community, security services, the Wenchi Municipal Assembly and the entire staff and management of the Wenchi Methodist Hospital for their support throughout the previous year.

He also expressed appreciation to the media and all the natives of Wenchi, home and abroad for their cooperation and commitment towards the development of the Area.
