Accra, Jan 03, GNA – Vice President-elect Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang on Thursday held a discussion with Madam Eyerusalem Fasika, the Country Manager of the African Development Bank.
The discussion took place when Madam Fasika paid a courtesy call on the Prof Opoku-Agyemang in Accra, to congratulate her on achievement as the first female Vice President-elect of Ghana.
The discussion focused on key priorities related to social development, capacity building, and private sector development, all of which align with the Bank’s High Five Priorities.
As part of the incoming Mahama Administration’s ongoing commitment to its manifesto promise regarding the establishment of the Women Development Bank (WDB), Prof Opoku-Agyemang invited the 2024 Manifesto Sub Committee on Business Development and Entrepreneurship to join the meeting.
“This is a vital step in our effort to further engage with our development partners and ensure we stay true to our promises,” she said.
“We look forward to continued collaboration as we work towards fulfilling these important initiatives.”
