Techiman South: High Court orders EC to collate 147 outstanding polling stations
The High Court has ordered the EC to collate 147 outstanding polling stations in the Techiman South Constituency .
It noted that out of the 282 polling stations only 135 Parliamentary election results were declared.
Mandamus: EC ordered to collate results from 31 outstanding polling stations in Okaikwei Central Constituency

The Electoral Commission has been ordered by an Accra High Court to collate Parliamentary election results from 31 outstanding polling stations in the Okaikwei Central Constituency.
Granting an application for an order of mandamus, the court ordered that 31 outstanding polling stations results should be added to 110 polling stations collated results and the winner declared by a Returning Officer as stipulated by law.
Again, the Court ordered the IGP to provide adequate security at the Regional Collation Centre to enable the Electoral Commission to carry out its constitutional mandate.

An Accra High Court has ordered the Electoral Commission to collate 62 outstanding polling stations in the Ablekuma North Constituency and declare parliamentary election results by January 6, 2025.
The Constituency had 281 polling stations but only 219 were collated and a winner declared, the Court noted.

An Accra High Court has ordered the Electoral Commission to collate two outstanding results in the Tema Central Constituency and declare results by January 6, 2025.
The Inspector General of Police has also been ordered to provide adequate security at the Regional Collation Centre.
The declaration of the results collated in all the 148 Polling Stations should be done by a Returning Officer, the Court ordered.
Kwakye Ofosu outlines preparations towards Presidential Inauguration

Disregard purported lists of ministerial nominees — President-elect

President-elect John Dramani Mahama has urged Ghanaians to disregard purported lists of ministerial nominees circulating in the media.
The Office of the President-elect said it had noted the circulation of various lists containing names of individuals purported to be nominees to ministerial positions.
A statement issued by Mr Felix Kwakye Ofosu, Special Aide to President-elect Mahama, copied to the Ghana News Agency, noted that the said lists do not emanate from the office of the President-elect.
