Sunyani, Bono, Jan. 07, GNA – The funeral observance of the late Sheikh Alhaji Umar Abdul Kadir Coulibaly, the Bono Regional Chief Imam would be observed on Sunday February 9, 2025, the bereaved family has announced.
The late Chief Imam died on Christmas Day December 25, 2024, after a short illness. He left behind four widows and 16 children.
A statement issued and signed by Mr Umar Farouk Ibrahim, the spokesperson for the bereaved family and copied to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) said the funeral would be held at the Sunyani Boahenkorkor Presbyterian School Park from 0900 hours.
It said preparations were underway, adding that the funeral observance would also see the Coronation of the newly enstooled Bono Regional Chief Imam too.
