Fodome (V/R), Jan. 3, GNA – Ms Marceline Eyram Amenyo, the Assembly member for the Fodome Helu Electoral Area in the Volta Region has supported Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) in her electoral area.
The 70 beneficiaries were drawn from all the 12 communities within the electoral area.
Ms Amenyo disclosed to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) that the support was from funds she raised to support the beneficiaries.
She said it was the hope that she would continue the support as well as extend support to other vulnerable people in communities once funds were available.
Miss Amenyo said the donation would put a smile on the faces of the beneficiaries since it was during the festive seasons.
She assured the beneficiaries of fighting for their interest and that of all citizens in the area.
Some beneficiaries expressed gratitude to Ms Amenyo for the support.
