Accra, Jan. 1, GNA – Worshippers at Action Chapel International and Calvary Methodist Church in Adabraka joyously welcomed 2025 with spirited dancing and songs of praise.
Many were dressed in white, offering thanks to God for guiding them into the new year.
At Action Chapel International, Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams, the church’s founder and overseer, led the congregation in prayers, asking God to help them overcome any challenges in the coming year.
He urged the faithful to view themselves as kings and priests, seeking wisdom and embracing the blessings God has prepared for them.
The archbishop also offered health advice, urging men over 40 to monitor their prostate health, highlighting it as a serious risk for black men.
Sharing his personal journey with the disease, he praised God for his healing through both faith and medicine.
He also encouraged women to regularly check for breast cancer as part of maintaining good health.
At Calvary Methodist Church, prayers were held for Ghana.
The service, themed “Gathering in His presence to worship, praise, and pray,” focused on seeking God’s guidance for the year ahead.
