Concerned Mother’s Movement congratulates Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang: Veep Elect

Takoradi, Jan. 3, GNA – The Concerned Mother’s Movement, women and girls, an NGO focused on women and girls has congratulated Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang for being elected as the first Woman Vice President of Ghana.

The Movement described her achievement as “groundbreaking.”

“This achievement marks a significant milestone in Ghanaian politics and paves the way for future generations of women leaders to aspire even more higher in all spheres of endeavour.”

Mrs Josephine Amo-Yankson, the Executive Director of the Movement said during a press conference that; “As a trailblazing woman in higher political office on the land, you inspire countless individuals, especially women and girls, to pursue their dreams and strive for excellence.”

She added that the Her dedication, expertise, and passion for public service had earned her this momentous honour, “may this accomplishment be a testament to your hard work and commitment to serving the nation”.

Mrs Amo-Yankson prayed that her tenure be marked by wisdom, innovation, and progress for the people of Ghana saying, “the movement wishes you all the best as you prepare to take office alongside President-elect John Dramani Mahama.”
