Accra, Jan 31, GNA-Members of the Minority Caucus on the Parliament’s Appointments Committee of Parliament led by Alexander Afenyo- Markin said they will not allow the vetting to continue.
The Chair of the Appointments Committee of Parliament Bernard Ahiafor has suspended vetting temporarily amid shouts.
The Minority Caucus accused the Clerk to the Committee of being partisan and siding with the NDC Majority Caucus.
Alexander Afenyo Markin, the Ranking Member on the Parliament’s Appointments Committee, said the Minority Caucus will vet the Health Minister-designate, Kwabena Mintah Akandoh and afterwards resolve the outstanding matters.

Vetting has resumed after it was temporarily halted.
