Sokode-Lokoe (V/R), Jan 1, GNA – The Reverend Elias Atsu Kumashie, Sokode-Lokoe District Pastor of The Church of Pentecost, has urged Christian’s to walk closely with God so they can bear fruits and not wither.
He said they ought to “do the will of God” and it shall be well with them.
Rev. Kumashie said this during the December 31, Watch Night service at the Rhema English Assembly of the Church of Pentecost at Sokode-Lokoe in the Ho Municipality of the Volta Region.
He said though year 2025 “is pregnant with a lot of good things, one ought to do the will of God” and it shall be well with them.
Speaking on the theme: “Walk Closely with God and you will not Wither”, and reading from Psalm 1:1-6, Rev. Kumashie charged Christian’s to walk not in the steps of the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers.
He advised Christian’s to have faith in God and trust Him even in difficult times.
He also advised the believers to follow the rules of the Lord Jesus Christ and communicate well with Him and they shall prosper.
