Kpeve, (V/R) Dec. 07, GNA – Voting is progressing in the South Dayi Constituency of the Volta Region.
However, some polling centres the Ghana News Agency (GNA) visited were without queues.
At E.P JHS Kpeve New Town A, a total of 40 electorates have gone through the process as at 0802 hours.
Mr. Prosper Agbenyega, the Presiding Officer, told Ghana News Agency that voting started at 0700 hours, and the process has been smooth.
At the E.P JHS Kpeve New Town B, a total of 28 people have cast their votes as at 0806 hours with few people in queue waiting to have their turn.
Madam Agness Nutakor, the Presiding Officer described the process as smooth with the machines also functioning effectively.
Prosper Doh, the New Patriotic Party’s agent said no incident has been recorded since the start of the process.
