Sunyani, (Bono), Dec. 7, GNA – Voting commenced earnestly at the various polling stations, spread across the 12 constituencies of the Bono Region on time without hitches, Mr Guggisberg Asirifi-Young, the Bono Regional Director of the Electoral Commission (EC) has said.
In an interview with the Ghana News Agency (GNA) in Sunyani, he said the EC sent all voting materials to the various polling stations in all the 12 constituencies of the region on time. Mr Asirifi-Young said a total of 719,916 eligible voters were expected to cast their ballots at the 1,560 polling centers spread across the Region.
“So far we have not received any information about delays and challenges at any of the polling stations,” he stated.
