Special voting exercise progresses at Atebubu-Amantin constituency

Atebubu/Amantin, (Bono East), Dec. 2, GNA – The Electoral Commission (EC)’s nationwide special voting exercise is progressing steadily at the Atebubu/Amantin constituency in the Bono East Region without any major problem.

During a visit to the two voting centers at Atebubu, the presiding officers told the Ghana News Agency that voting started exactly 0700 hours, with a total of 826 electorates in the constituency expected to participate in the exercise.

The GNA learnt that 413 of the voters were expected to cast their ballot at the Atebubu Anglican Primary School Center ‘A’ and another 413 electorates at the Atebubu Anglican Primary School Center ‘B’.

There were security personnel and agents of the various political parties at the two centers. At about 0943 hours a total of 210 voters had cast their ballot at the two centers. Some of the voters were also anxiously waiting in queues to vote.
