Accra, Dec 2, GNA – Promasidor Ghana (PGH), a leading food manufacturing company, has launched its “Proma Moms Empowerment Hub”, a groundbreaking initiative, to recognize, support, and celebrate the incredible women who balance the demands of motherhood with professional ambitions.
The event brought together enthusiastic moms at PGH to create a supportive community for mothers, connect, share experiences, and navigate the complexities of modern motherhood.
Mr Festus Tetteh, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Promasidor ECOWAS, excluding Nigeria, and Patron for Proma Moms, explained the importance of fostering environments where women could thrive both personally and professionally.
He said: “Proma Moms is more than just a community we are rolling out today; it is a safe space we have collectively created for moms to exchange tips, seek encouragement, and find solidarity in their shared journeys.”
Nana Hawa Habib Jawula, the Human Resource Director at Promasidor Ghana, said the Proma Moms Empowerment Hub aims to be a beacon of support, encouraging women to embrace their victories big or small and rise above their challenges.
That would be done through workshops, meetups, and meaningful conversations
“The working moms understand the daily challenge of managing early mornings filled with school runs, meal preparations, and important work commitments.
“This constant balancing act requires resilience, strength, and determination. At PGH, we see you, celebrate you, and we are here to remind you that you’re not alone.
“At PGH, we believe that empowered moms are unstoppable, thriving at home, in the workplace, and beyond,” she added.
PGH continues to provide quality food products for the past 25 years following the launch of its flagship brand, Cowbell, in 1999. It is also a major player in the Infant Cereal category with the Yum Vita brand, which was launched in 2014.
