Akumadan (Ash), Dec. 2, GNA – Dr. Fred Kyei Asamoah, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary candidate for Offinso North Constituency in the Ashanti Region has led a large crowd of people in the area, to walk for peaceful elections.
The early morning exercise participated by some NPP constituency executives, took the people through some principal streets of Akumadan and Afrancho, and later converged at the Akumadan Methodist School Park.
Dr Kyei Asamoah in an address expressed excitement at the response of the people, and said it was a motivation to cling victory for the party, in both presidential and parliamentary race, come Saturday, December 7, 2024.
He urged the electorate and Ghanaians in general, to try hard to restrain themselves from any form of trouble; stressing that, “We need peace now and always, to continue to enjoy the blessings of God upon our nation.”
Dr. Kyei Asamoah stated that Ghana has made a lot of progress under the NPP government and needed to soar higher.
“Ghana is not turning back, we are moving forward, in a positive direction, so, all hands should be on deck, to achieve the ultimate of total transformation for the nation, and its people,” he told the cheering crowd.
Ghana goes to the polls on Saturday, December 7, 2024, to elect a new President, and MPs for the 275 constituencies across the country.
