Odomase, (Bono), Dec. 31, GNA – Police say they are investigating the circumstances that led to the burning of three private vehicles at Odomase in the Sunyani West Municipality of the Bono Region.
The Ghana News Agency gathered that owners of the vehicles woke up on Christmas Day December 25 and found their cars, comprising two 4×4, and a ford bus parked in their respective houses burnt.
During a visit, the GNA learnt from residents that a popular Pastor in the town and a sub-chief owned two of the vehicles.
A reliable police source who spoke to the GNA on condition of anonymity indicated that the vehicle’s owners had since made official complaints, however, no arrest had been made so far.
“We have made some headway in our investigations, and we assured the owners those involved in the arson would not go scout free,” the source stated.
