Sefwi-Juaboso (WN/R), Dec. 5, GNA – The leadership of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) branch in the United States of America (USA), has donated some campaign items and an undisclosed amount of money to support four constituency offices of the party in the Western North Region.

Mr Ampem Darko, NPP-USA Deputy Communication Director, in the company of Madam Obaa Yaa Frimpong, Chairperson of the NPP-USA Branch, expressed the hope that the donation would help the party win more seats in the region.

Speaking to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) after the donation, Madam Frimpong shared her thought on education and said that it was only education that could bridge the gap between the rich and poor in society.

She said the Free Senior High School (SHS) policy was the master plan implemented by the government to make it a reality.

She, thus, called on Ghanaians to vote massively for Dr Mahamudu Bawumia and the NPP’s Parliamentary Candidates in order to project the Free SHS policy for generations yet unborn.

She lauded President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s administration for the numerous infrastructure development across, and said the best candidate to continue the good policies of the president was Dr Bawumia.

“This year’s election will be the defining moment whether we are going forward or backwards as a country, because it is for the future of our children and generation unborn that we must vote for the NPP to protect the Free SHS,” Madam Frimpong noted.

She entreated the rank and file of the party to unite and work hard to consolidate the gains of President Akufo-Addo by voting massively for the NPP on December 7.

Dr Alex Ampabeng, Deputy Finance Minister, and NPP Parliamentary Candidate for Juaboso, on behalf of the beneficiary constituencies, thanked the donors for the support and pledged to work hard with the party structure for a resounding victory in both the presidential and parliamentary elections.

He entreated Ghanaians especially Western North residents, to vote based on issues and development initiatives implemented by the NPP government, while asking them to ensure incident-free election.
