NPP, LPG Parliamentary Candidates of Nkwanta South share vision at NCCE Dialogue

Nkwanta (O/R), Dec. 1, GNA – Hajia Sharifa Sekyere-Tijani, Nkwanta South New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary Candidate (PC) and Wisdom Tey, Nkwanta South Liberal Party of Ghana (LPG), have shared their visions with the constituents at the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) Parliamentary Dialogue at Nkwanta in the Oti Region. 

However, Mr. Geoffrey Kini, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) PC and the incumbent Member of Parliament (MP) for Nkwanta South was absent. 

Speaking at the programme, Mr. Robert Kwesi Boame, Oti Regional Director, NCCE, advised the PCs to campaign on issues and avoid personal attacks, insults and use of provocative languages during their campaigns. 

Mr. John Tadare, Nkwanta South Municipal Director, NCCE, called for sustain peace in the country before, during and after the December 7 polls. 

Hajia Sekyere-Tijani, NPP PC, pledged to provide more classrooms and support teacher trainers when elected as MP. 

She also promised to help give skills training for the teaming youth to make them employable and be economically independent. 

The NPP PC also pledged to provide free health insurance cover for the vulnerable to enable them access medical care. 

Mr. Wisdom Tey, LPG PC, pledged to invest in infrastructure to improve health accessibility. 

He also promised to regularly reshape feeder roads in the Constituency to make them motorable. 

On employment, he promised to train the youths in entrepreneurial skills to enable them fit into the job market. 

The participants and the PCs lauded the NCCE for organizing the programme.
