Accra, Dec.7, GNA – Mr Dennis Miracle Aboagye, the Director of Communications for Bawumia 2024 Campaign, has commended the security personnel and officials of the Electoral Commission for preventing the Atwima-Kwanwoma National Democratic Congress Constituency Organiser, from allegedly attempting to smuggle 76 already thump-printed ballot papers into the ballot box.

He called for an immediate prosecution of the suspects to serve as a deterrent to others.
Mr Aboagye said this at a press conference at the NPP Campaign Communication Office in Accra on Saturday.
The EC has, however, not confirmed the allegation.
Mr Aboagye also condemned an Electoral Officer in Kintampo South, Mr Joseph Dery, for omitting the image of the NPP Flagbearer, Dr Bawumia, from the ballot papers in an attempt to “deliberately disenfranchise voters”.
He, however, expressed satisfaction with the electoral process so far and urged those who were yet to cast their votes to do so.
Mr Aboagye said the NPP had robust system in place at all the polling stations and that any attempt to disenfranchise any voter or manipulate the process would be resisted.

He urged the Election Security Taskforce to make known the status of all the arrests made so far in relation to the 2024 elections.
