Accra, Dec 08, GNA – Former President John Dramani Mahama, flagbearer, National Democratic Congress (NDC), on Sunday acknowledged that he has received a congratulatory call from Vice President Dr Mahamudu- Bawumia, New Patriotic Party (NPP) Presidential Candidate.
In an x message, the former President said: “I have, this morning, received congratulatory call from my brother Dr@MBawumia, following my emphatic victory in Saturday’s election.”
Dr Bawumia’s concession of defeat to Mr Mahama comes ahead of the Electoral Commission’s (EC) declaration of the December 7 general election results.
