Accra, Dec. 7, GNA – Madam Rita Naa Odoley Sowah, incumbent National Democratic Congress (NDC) Member of Parliament for La Dade Kotopon, has projected a 60 per cent win margin by the close of the 2024 general election.
After casting her vote at Centre B of the Next Page Polling Station, she expressed confidence in her expected victory, highlighting her record of accomplishment and the trust her constituents had placed in her.
Madam Sowah committed to continuing her development initiatives in the constituency if re-elected.
She also urged electoral officials to expedite the process, ensuring all eligible voters can cast their ballots before polls close at 1700 hours.

Madam Sowah expressed her gratitude to the people of the constituency for their support, stating, “I believe the good people of La Dade Kotopon will grant me a second term to continue the work I’ve started and elevate the constituency to new heights.”
She stressed the importance of electing the NDC’s Presidential candidate, John Dramani Mahama, to address critical development issues in the area.
Madam Sowah also condemned the halted reconstruction of the La General Hospital and the neglected Trade Fair redevelopment project, sayingg, “When the NDC returns to power, we will rebuild La and restore it to its former glory.”
Calling for peace and unity, she urged all stakeholders to ensure that the election process reflected the will of the people.
She appealed to the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) to ensure a stable power supply during the collation of results.
“We are well-prepared to ensure that every vote counts. Let’s remain peaceful and vigilant to ensure the true decision of the people of La Dade Kotopon stands,” she added.
