Accra, Dec. 19, GNA – The maiden edition of Kweku Smoke’s Revival Concert lit up the heart of Accra on a weekday, defying expectations and proving that music lovers are always ready to turn up, even midweek.
The event, which formed part of the much-anticipated December in Ghana festivities, drew a vibrant crowd to celebrate Kweku Smoke’s artistry alongside some of established names in contemporary Ghanaian music.
The lineup boasted stellar performances from Gyakie, Joey B, the Asakaa Boys, Show Boy, Kofi Mole, Kwamena MP, Fameye and others.
Each act brought electrifying energy to the stage, paving the way for the event’s headliner, Sarkodie, who further solidified his status as a rap legend.
In a touching moment that left the crowd buzzing, Sarkodie took the mic to hail Kweku Smoke’s growth and talent.
“Tonight I’m not here to perform . I came all the way here to say congratulations to Kweku Smoke,” he said.
“This boy has been through a lot and he is a definition of patience and hard work. Before I leave here…Kweku smoke is my best rapper of the year,” Sakodie decreed.
The highlight of the night, however, was Kweku Smoke himself. Performing his hit songs like “Agyekum”, “Kweku. Playman”, “Young Boy”, Born In Hell”, Kweku Smoke seized the stage with charisma and passion, reflecting years of hard work and dedication.
Fans could not help but sing along, cementing his position as one of the brightest stars in Ghana’s rap galazy.
The Revival Concert was not just a show — it was a statement. For a debut concert, Kweku Smoke delivered a great production that set the bar high for future events.
With such a resounding success, all eyes are now on the upcoming Ghana Music Awards, where Kweku Smoke could very well take Sarkodie’s prediction to heart and claim the coveted Rapper of the Year title.
Until then, the buzz from the Revival Concert will keep fans talking for months to come.
