Ketu North MP-Elect to embark on thank you tour

Dzodze (V/R), Dec. 10, GNA – Eric Edem Agbana, the newly elected Member of Parliament (MP) for the Ketu North Constituency, has announced plans to embark on a thank-you tour on Wednesday, December 11.

The tour is aimed at expressing his gratitude to the chiefs and people of Ketu North for the overwhelming support and votes that secured his victory as the next MP for the constituency.

In a post sighted by the Ghana News Agency (GNA), Mr. Agbana revealed that the tour will commence in the early hours of Wednesday at Afife, followed by visits to Penyi and Dzodze, and will conclude in Weta later in the day.

“My campaign team and I will begin a thank-you tour on Wednesday to express my heartfelt gratitude to the chiefs and people of Ketu North for their overwhelming support in voting for the NDC,” he stated.

He added, “This tour will also provide an opportunity to further engage with and strengthen my bond with the people as we work towards uniting and advancing our constituency.”

Mr. Agbana secured a resounding victory in the 2024 parliamentary elections, polling 41,002 votes, representing 86.29 per cent of the total valid votes cast.

His closest rival, Mr. Enoch Kwabla Amegbletor of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), managed to garner 5,902 votes, representing 12.42 per cent.

The thank-you tour underscores Mr. Agbana’s commitment to fostering unity and collaboration within the constituency.

It is expected to serve as a platform for engaging with various communities, addressing their concerns, and outlining his vision for the development of Ketu North.
