Kadjebi (O/R), Dec 4, GNA – Alhaji Danjumah Haruna, Kadjebi Zongo Meagowa (Chief) has appealed for sustained peace in Ghana before, during and after the December 7 polls.
He said the country needed peace to progress and everyone needed to avoid acts which would trigger violence.
Alhaji Haruna disclosed this to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) in an interview at Kadjebi in the Oti Region.
The Zongo Chief advised the political party leaders, assigned, agents and actors to desist from personal attacks, insults, and the use of provocative language as these are likely to bring conflict.
He called on all religious leaders to preach peace be it Church, Mosque or Shrine as we headed to the polls.
