Jehovah’s Witnesses offer plan for Bible reading for 2025

By Benjamin Mensah

Accra, Dec 31, GNA – With the close of the year 2024, and fresh beginning to 2025, Christian religious organisation Jehovah’s Witnesses are offering free Bible reading plans for a spiritual start to the New Year.

“Each year, many want to undertake the exciting but at times challenging experience of reading the entire Bible,” the organisation noted, in Accra.

Mr. Daniel Adashie, Media Contact Person for Jehovah’s Witness in Ghana, in a release copied to the Ghana News Agency (GNA), said,” Long known for their work in distributing Bibles and Bible-based materials, Jehovah’s Witnesses are featuring “Bible-Reading Plans” on their official website, jw.org.

“A schedule is available for free download that offers options to read the Bible daily or to complete it in one year.

“There’s even a reading plan for beginners.”

The release said the jw.org website is one website that “offers free resources that help people throughout the globe achieve success in this endeavor.”

The release advised that “readers can dive into the Scriptures in chronological order or explore it through specific topics, such as how God interacted with ancient Israel or how the first-century Christian congregation originated.”

It added that, “JW.ORG also offers audio recordings of the Bible for those who prefer to listen to the Scriptures and supplemental articles such as: How Can I Get Started? What Will Make It Interesting? How Can the Bible Improve My Life?”

The released said further that, “While a good many of us pray often, it can be easily overlooked that communication is a two-way affair. It can also be overlooked that the Bible, which many have, both as hard copies and in electronic formats, is a vital key to communicating with our Creator.”

During the first six days of the New Year, all those desiring to connect with our Creator and to find meaning and purpose will have access to free tools to explore the Scriptures.

“They will see how this guidebook to life will improve their overall mental, emotional and physical well-being and provide them with hope for the future,” Mr. Adashie said.

He added: “Jehovah’s Witnesses have so far translated the Bible, in whole or in part, into over 240 languages, and anyone can obtain a hard copy without charge. They have also developed the free JW Library app which contains digital copies of the Bible and Bible study aids.

The release urged readers “to access the Bible-reading schedule, visit jw.org and type “Bible-Reading Plans” in the search box.”

“You can also search for any of the articles mentioned,” Mr. Adashie said, and invited the public to visit jw.org or contact the Ghana Branch Office of Jehovah’s Witnesses through No. J348/4 Nungua-Tema Beach Road, Accra.
