Accra, Dec. 31, GNA—The Reverend Kweku Addo, Member of Parliament elect for the Ablekuma West has assured his constituents that he has come to serve them diligently.
“I thank the constituency for the love shown to me. I have come to serve. I don’t know how to be flamboyant. I have gone through pain growing up; I have gone through not having whilst growing up. And I pray I and my team would be able to help those who need our help. And that’s all we want to do for this period that God has given us the opportunity so continue supporting us wirh prayers so we can be honest to the constituents so that they can see a change. I know this good Lord who has stares this wonderful work will lead it to a successful end, “he said.
He gave the reassurance on Sunday when he visited the Resurrection Power and Living Bread Ministries International, Accra West Regional Headquarters at Dansoman (My Father’s House) to offer thanksgiving to God for helping him to win the December 7 Parliamentary elections for the Ablekuma West Constituency.
Bishop Dr Yaw Owusu Ansah, the Accra West Regional Overseer prayed for support and cooperation to enable Rev. Addo realise his vision for the constituency
“You will not always get your candidate winning. He may not be the one you voted for but once he has won, put your differences aside and support him so that he can bring the needed transformation to this constituency,” he said.
He led the congregation to pray for the MP elect, asking God to fill him with fresh and innovative ideas to meet the needs of constituents.
Rev. Addo interacted with church members and organised a buffet for them as part of his thanksgiving celebration.
