GUM presidential candidate casts vote, urges acceptance of election results

Accra, Dec. 7, GNA – Mr. Christian Kwabena Andrews, the Presidential candidate for the Ghana Union Movement (GUM), has called on Ghanaians to accept the results of the 2024 general elections.

He said that for the peace and unity of the country, it was crucial for Ghanaians to respect the decision made by the people at the conclusion of the polls.

Mr. Andrews made the call after casting his ballot at the Glory Land Hotel 1A polling station in Odorkor, in the Ablekuma North Constituency.

He urged citizens to respect the outcome of the elections, regardless of the result, for the well-being of the nation.

Mr. Andrews reiterated the need for peaceful voting and condemned any acts of violence or vandalism.

Expressing confidence in the electorate’s ability to make the right decision, he also highlighted the positive energy around the polls, noting the presence of volunteers acting as polling agents despite no formal requests from his campaign.

Mr. Andrews expressed optimism about the party’s prospects, believing that the outcome would reflect the will of the Ghanaian people.
