Former Hearts, Kotoko trainer Ocloo named coach of Togolese side AS OTR Lomé

Accra, Dec. 19, GNA – David Ocloo, a former Assistant Coach for Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko, has been named the new coach of Togolese Premier League club AS OTR Lomé. 
 
Ocloo, recently quit as Asante Kotoko’s Assistant Coach, despite their 1-0 victory over arch-rivals Hearts of Oak on Sunday. 
 
The Togolese side, who are currently struggling in the league, hopes to revive their season with the arrival of Ocloo, who has extensive coaching experience. 
 
During his time at Asante Kotoko, Ocloo helped to improve the team’s tactical framework and build an adaptable culture. 
 
He has been a member of Dr. Prosper Nartey Ogum’s backroom team at Kotoko since his departure from Hearts of Oak in 2022/23.   
 
Ocloo would be looking to re-energize his new club as they are set to face some tough fixtures in the coming weeks. 
 
For David Ocloo, this new job would be an opportunity to aid AS OTR Lomé to challenge for the Togolese league title.
