Election outcome is a call to rise again – NPP Candidate

Dzodze (V/R), Dec. 10, GNA-Mr. Enoch Kwabla Amegbletor, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary Candidate for the Ketu North Constituency in Election 2024, has extended heartfelt congratulations to Mr. Edem Agbana on his electoral victory.   

In a message reflecting humility and resilience, Mr. Amegbletor described the outcome of the polls not as a defeat but as an opportunity to rise stronger and more determined.  

He acknowledged the voice of the people of Ketu North and stated his acceptance of their decision.   

In a Facebook post sighted by the Ghana News Agency (GNA), Mr. Amegbletor expressed deep gratitude for the overwhelming love and support he received throughout his political journey.   

“To everyone who believed in me, stood by me, voted, volunteered, or whispered a prayer for our success, I am profoundly grateful,” he wrote.   

He also extended special thanks to the hardworking party officers, the supportive Council of Elders and Patrons, and his mentor, Mr. Kofi Dzamesi, for their unwavering dedication.   

Although the outcome was not as they had hoped for, Mr. Amegbletor emphasized that this moment marks the beginning of renewed determination, a stronger commitment, and a deepened love for the Ketu North Constituency.   

“Our shared vision for progress and prosperity remains alive and unshaken,” he said. “Let this moment not weaken our resolve but fuel our spirits,” he said   

He highlighted the movement they have built together—a cause rooted in hope, unity, and the belief that Ketu North deserves better—and called on supporters to view the results as a stepping stone to greater achievements.   

“This is not a defeat; it is a call to rise again, stronger and more determined than ever,” he reiterated.   

Mr. Amegbletor concluded by expressing profound appreciation to his family, friends, and countless supporters who stood by him through the journey.   

“You’ve reminded me that leadership is not only about positions but about purpose, and my purpose remains to serve you,” he said, adding, “Thank you for trusting me. Thank you for standing with me. Thank you for believing in our future.” 

Mr. Amegbletor of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), garnered 5,902 votes, representing 12.42 per cent.  

His contender Mr. Eric Edem Agbana secured a resounding victory in the 2024 parliamentary elections, polling 41,002 votes, representing 86.29 per cent of the total valid votes cast.
