Dormaa MCE assures absolute security in the election season

Atesikrom, (Bono), Dec. 7, GNA – Mr Drissa Ouattara, the Dormaa Central Municipal Chief Executive says security has been beefed up to tackle potential threats to prevailing peace in the area during and after the polls. 
 
“There are enough security personnel grounds ready to respond to any violent situation in the election season”, he assured, when interacting with the media after casting his ballot at the Atesikrom LA JHS Polling Center “One” in the municipality’ 
 
Mr Quattara therefore urged the electorates who were yet to cast their ballot to visit their respective polling stations and do so. 
 
He expressed excitement about the smooth and peaceful conduct of the polls in the municipality saying because the electoral process was not over yet, there was the need for the youth to be guarded and not allowed themselves to be used as conduit to perpetrate election related violence. 
 
Mr Ouattara warned foreign nationals living at the Ghana-Cote D’Ivoire border communities to stay away by avoiding temptation of participating in the elections, saying culprits would be prosecuted. 
 
However, he entreated Ghanaian electorates living in Côte d’Ivoire to return home and cast their ballots.
