Coaltar E/R, Dec 31, GNA – Barimah Okekrebesi Aseidu II Chief of Coaltar in the Ayensuano District of the Eastern Region has called on investors to invest in the development of the community.
Barimah Okrekrebesi Asiedu said Coaltar is the Capital of the Ayensuano District but has not many facilities like government hospital, fire service, police station among others.
The Chief made the call to the Ghana News Agency at his Palace after he sworn eight sub- chiefs to enable the town to get some developments through self-help projects.
He said Coaltar had a vast arable land from laamangoase to Dokorochiwah, which could be used by the government, NGOs and investors for development to up lift the face of the town.
He commended the government for starting the 30 Kilometer Road from Owuram to link Nsawam-Adoagyiri on the main Kumasi truck road, saying the road would enable farmers to facilitate their farming products to the marketing centre.
Akwansrahene Nii Adotei, one of the Sub-Chief thanked Barimah and the King makers of Coaltar and Kibi Traditional Area for the confidence reposed in them to lead their various area and pledged to support Barimah to foster and promote the needed development.
