Berekum East constituency Parliamentary Candidates cast ballot, urge voters to do so

(Bono), Dec. 7, GNA – Mr Nelson Kyeremeh, the incumbent New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament (MP) for Berekum East Constituency in the Bono Region, has called on the electorates to go all out in their numbers and cast their ballots.

In an interview with the Ghana News Agency (GNA) after casting his ballot at the Berekum-Biadan Methodist Primary School polling centre, the MP said he was highly impressed about the security presence at the various polling stations too.

Mr Kyeremeh, also the incumbent parliamentary candidate of the NPP, arrived and voted at the centre around 0900 hours and expressed the hope that voting would continue and end peacefully in the constituency.

Elder Simon Ampaabeng Kyeremeh, the National Democratic Congress candidate also arrived around 0900hours and voted at the same polling station. He also spoke to the GNA and urged the electorates to participate in the elections.

The GNA gathered that voting was progressing at all the 138 polling stations in the constituency, with a total of 64,064 eligible voters expected to cast their ballot.
