Mr. Abugri highlighted his record of accomplishment in community service, citing initiatives such as scholarships for underprivileged students and support for small businesses.
“Notably, I have sponsored over 3,000 graduates from the University of Ghana, GIMPA, and UPSA to study master’s programs in the USA, Canada, and the UK.
“This initiative has not only empowered the youth but also demonstrated my commitment to investing in our community’s future,” he said.
He stated that “as an independent parliamentary candidate for Ayawaso West Wuogon, I’m aware of the challenges that come with running outside of the two major parties; however, my independence is a strength, allowing me to build alliances and secure votes based on my merit and policies.
” My plan is to build relationships with community leaders, local businesses, and civil society organisations.”
This, he said he would do through listening to their concerns and working together, expressing the belief that he could build a strong coalition of support that transcends party lines.
“I’ll also use social media and digital platforms to reach voters directly and share my vision,” he added.
