Gaza, Dec 14, (dpa/GNA) – At least seven people were killed and several injured, in an Israeli attack on a former school building in Gaza City, the Palestinian news agency Wafa reported on Saturday.
According to the report, the building was used to house displaced persons.
The Israeli military said it was investigating the report.
Israel has repeatedly targeted former school buildings, amid its campaign in Gaza, accusing Palestinian extremist group Hamas of setting up command centres inside such buildings.
Wafa also reported further deaths in various attacks across Gaza.
The Israeli military said the air force had attacked weapons depots and individuals, involved in a Hamas missile attack on southern Israel, launched from Gaza on Friday evening.
An “active international aid warehouse” is located some 50 metres from the missile launch site targeted by Israel on Saturday, the military wrote on X.
It was not possible to independently verify the claims.
